Water Right Permit No. 41QJ9443 has an enforceable priority date of September 8, 1976 at 02:39 PM. This water right has a Diversionary Volume of 313.8 AC-FT at a Flow Rate of 1.57 CFS, and is currently authorized by the DNRC as instream flow for the benefit of Fishery Resources. The current place of use for the instream Fishery purpose is approximately 0.5 miles of the Missouri River starting at SWNWSW Section 15, Township 19N, Range 3E downstream to NWNENW Section 22, Township 19N, Range 3E (about 13 miles upstream from Great Falls, MT). The authorization for Fishery purposes is temporary and expires on February 10, 2020, unless renewed. The maximum renewal period is 10 years for each filing of Form 626 U 11/2011 (see link below*). If it is not renewed, the right reverts back to its permanent purpose (irrigation). Please note that when the buyer chooses to change the stated purpose of this water right (from Fishery Resource to Irrigation or Municipal use for example) authorization from the DNRC will be required. This water right may be purchased now as currently authorized (Fishery Resource) for $1,000,000.
